Accredited Maternity Reflexology Training Courses
If you have a desire to build upon your current skillset and provide gold standard dynamic, person-centred maternity reflexology treatments with clinical confidence to your client then this accredited short course is now available. Facilitated by Tracy Ripley a qualified Midwife, practising Specialist Community Public Health Nurse, Certified Antenatal Educator, and complementary therapist with almost 30 years of practice experience.
You will learn about the four trimesters and common conditions often experienced by pregnant women/ people and how they impact her partner and wider family. We will explore the psychosocial aspects experienced by women during this transitional time and the benefits of practical support to promote physical and emotional well–being.
Insights into a journey of pregnancy and birth and the philosophies and policies within the maternity care system that may impact the individuals’ choice, and potential outcomes.
This CPD short course seeks to enlighten therapists on the innate hormonal alchemies we possess and strategies to respect birthing physiology and how continuity of trusted support enables the woman to optimise her maternity experience.

What you will need to complete the short course:
To be qualified with Anatomy and Physiology minimum Level 3.
You will need to be a qualified Reflexologist to minimum
To be working towards minimum Level 3.
To have current insurances to practice and to gain appropriate insurance when certified.
Disposables for foot cleansing / balms/ wax/ oils etc. / Covid-19 secure PPE
For face to face, in-class sessions travel to venue and lunch. Light refreshments provided.
Group sizes are deliberately kept small where possible therapists are encouraged to work on each other for constructive feedback and model for each other. If class sizes are of an uneven number models are welcome or can be sourced.

Face to Face course (15 CPD Points) - £450
For those who are newly qualified or would like to build clinical confidence working with pregnant birthing or post-natal women Mentored case studies are advisable this will build your experience while being supported if required via virtual contact or telephone.
The case studies should be completed within 4 months of certification and paid for in advance when paying fees for training Case studies should be anonymised and either sent electronically or via post for marking and professional feedback this will be word-processed and returned via email.
A minimum of three individuals in pregnancy or the postnatal period x a minimum of three treatments each. Fees for marking, mentorship support and professional feedback £125.00
Full Payments are taken a minimum of 2 weeks prior to learning dates.
50% deposits are acceptable to secure a place on the course and are non-refundable.
